Bio
Chris Cunningham is a photographic artist and printmaker with a background in fine art digital printing and publishing. He founded and directed Loupe Print (2018–2024), a fine art printing and framing studio in Chicago, and co-founded and designed Contango Journal (2016–2020), an independently published critical writing and art journal. He apprenticed in framing under Bill Butler at Archival Art Services and in digital printmaking under David Adamson at Adamson Editions, both in Washington, D.C. He holds a BFA in Photojournalism from the Corcoran College of Art and Design, where he studied under Andy Grundberg and Frank DiPerna. Born in 1988 in Fairfax, Virginia, he now lives and works in New York City.
