Chris Cunningham
Bio
Chris Cunningham (b. 1988 Fairfax, VA) is a photographic artist and printmaker. Professionally, he currently works between contract framing, production consulting, and photo assisting for various clients. He founded and directed Loupe Print (2018–2024), a fine art printing and framing studio in Chicago, and co-founded and designed Contango Journal (2016–2020), an independently published critical writing and art journal. He apprenticed in framing under Bill Butler at Archival Art Services and in digital printmaking under David Adamson at Adamson Editions, both in Washington, D.C. He holds a BFA in Photojournalism from the Corcoran College of Art and Design, where he studied under Andy Grundberg and Frank DiPerna. Chris now lives and works in New York City.
